As an educator, I thought this needed to be shared. I agree Educators in America are not looked at the same in other countries. In other countries, who happen to be doing better then the US, teachers are treated and respected like Doctors in this country.


Shame. Until teachers are paid and respected, students will not respect the learning process in school and will continue to behave poorly towards teachers and will will not value the education they are receiving.

I think when we should start holding parents responsible for how there child acts, learn and behaves in school. I'm not sure what it may take but we have to uphold the respect and the status of teachers in the US. They are professional and need to be treated as such.
